  • Overview

    Do you have IR experience? In this position your will perform all phases of special imaging procedures.  

    Responsibilities

    • Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures and standards
    • Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements to achieve clinical, satisfaction and/or efficiency outcomes
    • Performs diagnostic, vascular, or other related procedures to aid in diagnosis determination
    • Assists Radiologist and/or staff physician in special procedure performance to expedite patient flow
    • Maintains supply inventory to ensure availability of required items
    • Assists in maintenance of equipment to ensure proper function and availability
    • Trains alternate staff to provide adequate staffing
    • Coordinates coverage for special procedures and after-hours services

    Qualifications

    • Associate's Degree
    • Associate's degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
    • 6 months experience in Special Procedure Department preferred
    • Computer Skills Basic: Ability to use a computer and applications that are associated with performing basic work tasks (use a mouse, navigate in Windows, Outlook, etc)
    • Interpersonal Communication: Skilled in developing effective rapport with customers, co-workers, or families, actively listening to develop a positive connection
    • Patient Care Delivery: Observes and collects pertinent data and/or clinical findings to enhance patient outcomes
    • Patient Safety: Demonstrates practices that support safety with recognition of variations in populations served, preventing harm to patients, families, employees, and themselves
    • Professional Practice: Demonstrates behavior consistent with the standards, scope of practice, ethics, and characteristics of a licensed professional
